Case Status

Ralph Duke continues to fight his life sentence.

Ralph Duke was arrersted in 1989 after his son attempted to purchase cocaine from DEA super-informant Andrew Chambers. Ralph was convicted of drug charges following a jury trial and sentenced to life imprisonment. He won a miraculous Pro Se appeal regarding certain aspects of his conviction, resulting in a 2018 resentencing where he could have been released. The judge instead re-sentenced Ralph to life imprisonment despite the decades already served for his non-violent first-time conviction.
